Spring is here and things are changing.
Live bait has started to show up and will become more abundant as the weather heats up.
There are plenty of schooley 40lb yellowfin tuna on most of the shelf rigs.
For the bigger fish we are having to run to the floaters.
It’s nice to have options when the weather has been less than favorable.
The sword fish have been chewing and the wahoo are still around.
Mahi have started to show up, just not any big ones yet.
We should start to see some good rips and weedlines forming that can make for some awesome fishing. Tuna, wahoo, Mahi and Marlin can all be found on the right rip.
Also a great place to catch some extra bait. Spring is an awesome time to fish out of Venice LA the possibilities are endless and the fish are plentiful!!
