Fishing has been good as long as the seas aren’t too angry. We are starting to move into our summer patterns and bait should get good soon. “no more poggies” The Yellowfin tuna bite has been solid with fish in the 60-80lb range. Both the shelf rigs and floaters have had good Yellowfin and also plenty of mahi on the floaters. We have still been getting some Wahoo as a bonus. Sword fishing has really picked up and should stay good. We haven’t made many drops in the last couple weeks but the drops we made counted. Plenty of Amberjacks and some cobia on the shallower stuff. All in all its a great time to fish Venice. Don’t forget Snapper opens June 1st!!
